Initial consultation

Your first visit to Top Life Chiropractic is all about understanding your health, identifying the root cause of your concerns, and creating a clear plan to help you feel and function better.

When you book your initial consultation, you’ll receive an online intake form to complete before your appointment.

1. Comprehensive History Taking

We take the time to understand your health story. This includes your current concerns, lifestyle factors, past injuries, and medical history to build a complete picture of your overall wellbeing.

2. Instrumental Examination – Nervo-Scope®

The Nervoscope scan helps identify areas of nerve irritation and inflammation along the spine, providing valuable insight into nervous system stress patterns.

3. Orthopaedic & Neurological Testing

Targeted tests are performed to assess joint and nerve function, muscle strength, reflexes, and movement patterns. These help determine the severity of your condition and rule out any underlying issues that may require further investigation or referral.

4. Static & Motion Palpation

Using our hands, we carefully assess your spine and joints for areas of restricted movement, tenderness, muscle tension, and potential spinal dysfunction.

5. Imaging Referral (If Clinically Indicated)

If required, we may refer you for spinal X-rays or other imaging to gain a clearer understanding of your spinal structure. For your convenience, referrals can be made to Qscan at Top Ryde Shopping Centre.
Imaging allows us to be precise in our analysis — ensuring your care is safe, informed, and tailored specifically to you. After all, to see is not to guess.

Adjustment or Next Steps

If it is safe and appropriate, a gentle chiropractic adjustment may be performed during this visit.
If an adjustment is not indicated, we will clearly explain why and discuss the most appropriate next step — whether that involves further assessment, imaging, or referral to another healthcare provider.

Our priority is always your safety, clarity, and long-term results..
